My Kindle

Hey everybody! So just recently I dropped my Kindle into the water and the case was on it and I got it out and I put it on the towel and I finished what I was doing which took like 30 seconds then I dried it off and I turned it off, brought it into my room and I tried to turn on but only the start up screen worked and I plugged it up and the same thing happened so I brought it into the kitchen and dad covered it with rice and the next day around the same time of day I checked it and it still didn't work. Well I had been feeling like crap and mom had gotten sick earlier that week and that's who I think I got it from and so, Dad being funny said that I was suffering from Kindle withdrawal. Harharhar. A little bit later that day dad picked the kindle up and put it upside down in a cereal box and so it would drain better and it turns out that that works. I didn't check it last night and and so this morning I checked it and it works!! If you can't tell by now it happened at night. My suggestion for if you ever drop your kindle in the water is to wait over 48 hours to check it.

Insensitive Tori

Hey. So I was thinking about my friends and about the previous school year and I remembered one day when just the night before a family member died who was kinda like a grandfather to me bc my grandfather had died over 3 years ago. So that day I came to school I had posted on Facebook about him so everybody knew and my face was blotchy and so Kally, Bailey, and Lola were really sweet about it saying they understood how I felt and stuff. Jamie, Meghan, and both Ally's were kinda awkwardly standing there bc they don't know what to do when someone is sad. But Tori can sometimes say insensitive things and I'm not sure whether or not she does it on purpose. My thoughts were as I was walking to the group that if she says something insensitive I WILL go off on her. So as some of us were walking to 1st period (some of us don't have classes together) I told Kally what my thoughts were and her eyes got real big and then when she told Jamie, Lola, and Bailey this they all looked at me like that was out of character for me, but my some of my rules are: Don't diss my family, friends or me, because I don't stand for people pushing other people around, and although I look small (I'm 5 foot 4 inches tall and weigh around 95 pounds) I pack a punch and if that don't hurt you my rings will. Well I'm getting off subject. So they looked at me like I was crazy and I just shrugged my shoulders.
